With the onslaught of ransomware and other cyberthreats it is becoming harder for corporations to protect their data. News reports about ransomware attacks have become so commonplace that it easy to wonder if there is any good solution.

At NeuShield we have taken a completely different approach to traditional security by offering data protection. Rather than trying to detect and block threats one-by-one we take a new patented approach that uses Mirror Shielding™, One-Click Restore and Data Engrams™ which shield important data to prevent threats from modifying it.

This new approach allows us to instantly recover data from any unknown or zero-day threat. Because we are protecting the data rather than trying to find specific threats, we can do this without requiring continuous updates and without signatures.

Yuen Pin Yeap

CEO, Co-Founder

Yuen Pin Yeap is the CEO and co-founder of NeuShield. Prior to that, Yuen Pin held positions as early engineer, architect, engineering director, and vice president of engineering at early startups to top-tier cybersecurity companies such as Sygate Technologies, Symantec, Websense, and SkyDRM. Yuen Pin is an experienced leader with a long track record in creating innovative cybersecurity products.

Fei (Philip) Qi

CTO & Architect, Co-Founder

Fei (Philip) Qi is the CTO, architect, and co-founder of NeuShield. He is a detail-oriented kernel developer and software architect with over 20 years of experience in leading technology projects and developing software solutions at companies such as Sygate, Symantec, and Websense / Forcepoint. Skilled in kernel file system filter driver development and guiding product development teams.

He (Jack) Ouyang

Chief Scientist

He (Jack) Ouyang is Chief Scientist at NeuShield with 30+ years in software, algorithms, and advanced math. He led video SoC and image compression work, holds 20+ patents, and previously worked at Cornerstone Imaging and Chips and Tech. He founded WIS Technologies (acquired by Micronus) and was CTO of Shanghai Jade Technologies. Jack earned a Ph.D. in Math from Washington University and contributed to areas like fuzzy logic, wavelets, and category theory. He also developed Acoin Theory, a framework for modeling autonomous, evolving AI.

Elisha Riedlinger

COO

Elisha Riedlinger is the Chief Operating Officer at NeuShield. Prior to that, he worked for three years at FireEye on their HX (EDR) product. Before FireEye, Elisha managed Sygate's flagship product during the acquisition and integration of the product into Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP). At Symantec he helped grow their large enterprise business sales by more than 25% year-over-year.

Louis Smith

VP Worldwide Sales

Louis Smith Jr. boasts a rich cybersecurity background. With success at TrapX and pivotal roles at Commvault and Raytheon / Forcepoint, he brings strategic go-to-market expertise. In his role, Louis leads global initiatives, leveraging NeuShield's patented technology to enhance cybersecurity for partners, customers, and prospects worldwide.

John McCormack

Chairman of Board

Mr. John McCormack brings more than 30 years of expertise leading and scaling enterprise businesses in the cybersecurity and internet infrastructure sectors. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Websense, including during the sale to a private equity fund and then to Raytheon. Mr. McCormack currently serves on the Boards of Directors for a number of leading enterprise software organizations, including TeeSnap, ThreatOptix, NeuShield, and Forcepoint (formerly Websense). Throughout his career, he has led and realized value-creation activities, including Ping Identity’s initial public offering and AppRiver’s sale to Zix Corp.

Fei Huang

Advisor

Fei Huang is currently the VP of Security Strategy at SUSE. He has held various leadership positions at NeuVector, VMware, TrendMicro and ProVilla, where he has contributed to the growth and success of these organizations. Fei Huang is the cofounder and founding CEO at NeuVector, a cloud-native Kubernetes security platform provider. Fei has 25+ years of experience in enterprise security, virtualization, cloud and embedded software. He was part of the founding team of CloudVolumes (acquired by VMware) and cofounder of Provilla, a DLP security company acquired by TrendMicro. Fei also holds several patents in security, virtualization and software architecture.
