First, you will need to access the Windows Recovery Environment. To do this, turn on your computer and press the F8 key repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears. If your computer doesn't respond to the F8 key, you can also try pressing the F11 key or the Esc key.
- Note: If you cannot boot to the recovery environment on your internal hard drive then you can insert a Windows Installation DVD or USB disk and boot up from there.
-
From the Advanced Boot Options menu, select "Repair your computer" using the arrow keys and press Enter.
-
Select your language preferences and click "Next."
-
On the next screen, enter your username and password to log in to your computer.
-
Once you have logged in, you will see the System Recovery Options screen. From here, select "System Restore" and click "Next."
-
Select the restore point you want to use from the list of available restore points, and click "Next." Note: the NeuShield restore points will be labeled as "NeuShield Data Engram".
-
Confirm your selected restore point and click "Finish" to begin the restoration process.
-
Wait for the restoration process to complete, which may take several minutes.
-
Once the restoration process is complete, your computer will restart automatically.
