In the NeuShield Portal there is a concept of a tenant account. A tenant account is an account that is managed by or linked to a Managed Service Provider (MSP) account. Tenant accounts are typically customers of an MSP. For instance, if an MSP had a customer called Acme Corp., they could create a tenant account for Acme Corp.
In order to use the multi-tenancy feature, you will need to have multi-tenancy permission enabled. This permission can only be enabled by NeuShield. In order to gain access to this feature please contact your NeuShield representative.
Once an account has the multi-tenancy feature permission enabled, then there will be two new options on the left panel called ‘My Tenants’ and ‘Tenant Activity’. There are two ways to add tenants to an MSP account.
- The ‘Add new tenant’ button will create a new tenant account. No login email is required for this option. This account is ‘completely’ managed by the MSP.
- The ‘Import tenant’ button allows an MSP to manage an existing account by importing a small file created by the tenant account admin.
