Are database servers, like SQL or Exchange servers, supported?

NeuShield Data Sentinel Datacenter Edition supports protecting and recovering data and other files from Microsoft SQL Server.  It is designed to specifically protect data, both structured and unstructured.  With this edition NeuShield also offers the ability to block foreign processes from modifying data in the database as well as allowing for quick recovery of data in a database.  The Datacenter Edition will work with large volume sizes, supporting up to 64 TBs per-volume.

However, it is not recommended to configure NeuShield to protect other active database files besides Microsoft SQL Server.  Data may be lost if NeuShield is configured to protect other active database files.

Note: you can protect folders with database backup files in them.  One option is to script regular backups of the database and store those in a NeuShield protected folder.
